THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE BERNIE NICHOLLS FOUNDATION!
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE BERNIE NICHOLLS FOUNDATION!
The Bernie Nicholls Foundation was founded to help underserved youth and their families. In 1992 Bernie Nicholls and his wife had a son named Jack. Jack passed away six days before his first birthday. As a parent who has lost a child, Bernie understands the heartache and trauma this can cause a family
We are dedicating our time and efforts to find ways to assist families who are faced with difficult challenges and the charities that support them.
Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is the name for a group of painful genetic skin conditions that cause the skin to tear and blister at the slightest touch.
The name comes from ‘epiderm’ - the outer layer of skin, ‘lysis’ - the breakdown of cells and ‘bullosa’ - blisters.
People with EB have a faulty gene, which means the skin cannot bind together, so any trauma or friction can cause painful blisters, which results in open wounds and scarring.
It can also affect internal linings, mucous membranes and organs.

WHAT IS THE FEED ALL FOUR FUND?
Established in 2020 at a time when Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) families were experiencing job loss, as well as food and financial insecurity, the Feed All Four Fund was initiated to provide an opportunity for TLDSB staff to support our students and their families. Initially, it was only staff who contributed to a fund, but it has now grown to receive funds from community partners. Over the last two and a half years, these funds have been accessed continuously, directly supporting TLDSB families.
